1 I have written a set of practical articles on aspects of self defence.
Many include the Sjambok. You can read them here –
http://www.articlesbase.com/authors/john-roberts-james/18218

2 My main web site containing a series of definitive ebooks on
important aspects of self defence / rape can be found here –
http://www.personalprotectionpublications.co.uk/main.htm

3 As you already have this present textbook on the Sjambok,
you may be interested in my specialised ebook on the trio -
Walking Stick, the Umbrella and the Sjambok –
http://www.effectiveselfdefence.co.uk

4 The Walking Stick is a very different weapon than the Sjambok.
With wide applications and techniques. I have written several
detailed illustrated textbooks, which you can assess here -
http://www.personalprotectionpublications.co.uk/pubs1.htm

5 The beauty of the Umbrella is that it can be carried by anyone,
young or old, in rain or sunshine. Almost a potential ‘universal’
weapon. And a severely dangerous one. Just like a vicious spear.
The System is called Amagasa-jutsu, and here is the world first
textbook –
http://www.personalprotectionpublications.co.uk/pub10.htm

6 Here is a definitive textbook on the use of the chain –
or dog lead – for survival if attacked – Manrikigusari-jutsu.
A different approach to that of the traditional Samurai, but
nevertheless highly effective and geared to today’s need –
http://www.personalprotectionpublications.co.uk/pub6.htm

7 But almost the best of all – the Kara-tetsu. Or rather the PEST.
My own invention, a small neat survival ‘thing’, my wife, daughter,

close friends and I are never without it. There is always a place for
its many uses.
http://www.personalprotectionpublications.co.uk/pub8.htm

8 This is indeed THE book, my very best and most comprehensive –
Protect Yourself in Your Bedroom. If you’re 50. 60. 70 or older.
Especially if you live alone and are not as strong as you once
were, then this Survival book is for You! It goes into greatest detail
on how to survive if you find a man in your bedroom –
uninvited, that is!
http://www.personalprotectionpublications.co.uk/pub5.htm

10 Everywhere I go, I have Tyson my dog with me. This led me to
think about his personal ‘doggy’ safety. Leading me to write my
book on our – his and mine – survival. After all, he is only a big
very powerful Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Harmless really…
But this book has a great deal of information for your own personal
safety when walking yours. Protect Yourself When Walking Your Dog.
